September 12th- 18th – National Assisted Living Week!!
Sunday 9/12
We are asking our families to bring in pictures of our residents with their grandchildren to share, as well as inviting the grandchildren in to visit their grandparent (hopefully for lunch)
Monday 9/13
Soda-Fountain Day
Tuesday 9/14
Presentation on cartooning and our annual campfire night which will include “camping-like” meal, hopefully a guitar singer, and of course S’Mores!!
Wednesday 9/15
All-Day Bingo Bonanza with an entertainer in the evening.
Thursday 9/16
Past resident’s grandchild (who works for a pharmacy) will answer questions on medications.
Doggie Days at HeartFields where we will be making dog biscuits and enjoying the company of staff and family members’ dogs.
Friday 9/17
Wii Bowling Tournament -- staff vs. the children of our residents (since grandchildren will be at school) and the residents themselves!
September 23rd - Activities Room—Hospice forum on Death and Dying Presented by Hospice of Frederick County
September 26th at Frederick YMCA—look for the HeartFields banner at the YMCA Women’s Triathlon and if you’re up to the challenge, participate!
October 14th 9am-2pm at Frederick Fairgrounds—Elder Expo presented by the Elder Services Provider Council (ESPC)
October 17th- 23rd - International Infection Prevention Week
October 22nd at 6pm - Activities Room at HeartFields—Celebrity Funerals presented by Stauffer Funeral Home
October 24th 1-4pm at Maryland School for the Deaf—Annual Memory Walk hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association
November 3rd – Flu Vaccines at HeartFields for residents and community

Our Recent Events
HeartFields Frederick brought home the Assisted Living trophy once again from our recent golf tournament!!! We provided lunches, cookies (our signature recipe item), and goody bags for all of the golfers!
